Management Assistant Teaching Hotel Château Bethlehem

What you’ll do

Working closely with the management team of Teaching Hotel, you make sure all processes the team is involved in run smoothly. Whether you are planning meetings for our General Manager, recruiting interns from other educational institutes, arranging all the necessities for a new team member or processing grades of students – you are the spider in the Teaching Hotel web!

Functioning as a sparring partner regarding management issues, contributing ideas on decisions to be made and supporting the execution of various tasks, it’s is all part of the job. Being a key member of our team we not only value your opinion, we like to act on it as well. You will coordinate and conduct tasks on an administrative, operational and an educational level. Working in a very dynamic, ever changing and demanding environment, makes this position challenging.

Teaching Hotel Chateau Bethlehem, who we are:

Hotel Management School Maastricht (HMSM), part of Zuyd Hogeschool, is globally recognized as one of the best Hotel Management Schools. Teaching Hotel Château Bethlehem (THCB) is the practical learning ground for HMSM students and is an integral part of the educational program. This boutique hotel which is situated right beside the campus of the university in a historic castle, consists of 26 uniquely designed rooms, a bar, a restaurant and several meeting spaces. We are welcoming actual, external guests in an educational environment for overnight stays, business meetings and leisure events.

What we have to offer:

An appointment of 0,6 FTE for the duration of 1 year at Zuyd University with the possibility of extension (based on performance evaluation and the availability of organizational means).
Depending on former education and experience, classification takes place in accordance with the CAO HBO within the career perspective of scale 7 (with a minimum of € 2.348 and a maximum of € 3.264 gross per month based on a fulltime appointment).
